At BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard announced the development of Diablo IV’s first story expansion. The “Vessel of Hatred” DLC will only be available at the end of 2024, with the date yet to be confirmed.
According to the developers, the DLC continues the story of the main plot and involves Mephisto, the eldest of the Prime Evils and Lilith’s father. In the franchise, the villain played an important role in the world event and was one of the bosses in Diablo II.
In addition, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred will include a new area to explore and a new class in the world series. Additional details about the subject have not been disclosed.
Diablo IV is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
