The main difference between the social network is the fact that the platform is open source, that is, it is more transparent to users and also allows developers to create their own algorithms and codes. In a microblog post, Bluesky explained that if a user or organization creates a fact-checking tool, for example, the public will be able to flag posts that “some don’t true”, “error” or other categories. The bet is on a greater integration of social networks and users.

How to enter the Bluesky social network

It is possible to access Bluesky on a computer or app, available for Android and iPhone (iOS). To use the platform on your mobile phone, just search for “Bluesky” in the virtual store and download the application. Then, create an account and register your mobile number to get valid codes. Finally, create a username. The process is the same on PC. Just go to the website https://bsky.app/ and follow the registration instructions.

Bluesky appeared as a joint effort by Twitter developers, with the goal of creating a unified communication protocol called AT Protocol. The microblog bets on a decentralized platform, which allows developers outside the company to create their own code in the AT protocol.

For the president of Bluesky, Jay Graber, the platform was created so that everyone can contribute to the platform:

“What about distribution is the ability to test many things at the same time and so you don’t stand in the way of changes in an organization. The way we built Bluesky allows anyone changes to products,” Graber said in an interview with the TechCrunch portal.
