Finetwork, a Spanish fiber and mobile company, prepared a survey on the occasion of Singles Day, which, like every year, is celebrated on November 11. The purpose of this is to know the behavior of Mexican people when flirting online. “The season of films and blankets is coming, shall we spend it with others or enjoy the control of television?”
The Finetwork survey has confirmed that one of the trends in recent years is communication on the Internet. According to research, more than 27% of singles admit that they prefer to find love online. In particular, 10.3% of users indicate that their favorite option is chat, while 17.1% admit that they like to flirt through chat.
However, many people use apps and social networks just to meet people and have fun. Who needs to find a partner when you can enjoy the whole bed for free? This is where the saying “better alone than in bad company” makes sense, and that, although love can bring *surprises, it can create *more a headache.
In this sense, the biggest concern of Mexicans when they start to know someone is that they will be “demon”. This is confirmed by 40% of the studies. Close to this percentage is still the classic fear of “seeing anxiety on WhatsApp”, with 33%. That the person they *know* continues to talk to their ex is third in the category of love concerns, with 27%.
Regarding the frequency with which Mexicans go on Thanksgiving Day to find love, 11.2% admit that there are more than 5 days in the last year, while 22.6% claim that they have between one and five. For some, the sound notification from applications like Tinder or Bumble is the best music.
Finally, not everyone is looking for a connection. There are people who like to enjoy the benefits of being single to the fullest and forget about worries. According to Finetwork’s survey, more than 40% of singles say that the best thing about not having a partner is forgetting about the most misunderstood words. Another 39% point out that the best thing is to be able to choose movies with complete freedom. Of course, “being single is fashionable.”
