MinTIC, through Findeter, opened a call to bring stable Internet to 10 departments

The Transitional Government continues its goal of connecting 85% of the population. The MinTIC, through Findeter, has opened a call for PAF-MINTICFOMENTO-PS-013-2024 for the ‘Promotion’ project, which seeks to select an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that will connect 21,417 households in strata 1 and 2 in the departments of Antioquia, Bolívar, Boyacá, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, Cesar, Norte de Santander, Santander and Tolima.

Through this work we want to connect families who need it the most. In addition, we support and strengthen ISPs and formalized Connectivity Communities, where we will be able to provide support, transfer knowledge and develop skills that will allow them , in the future, to receive and work on the connection between the devices used in them. communities provide stable Internet services. In this way it will be easier for them to support the project connected to the opportunity to benefit the Colombians.“said ICT Minister, Mauricio Lizcano.
