The promise of the Government of the Leonese Party (UPL) in the San Andrés del Rabanedo City Council has become a reality for the residents of Ferral del Bernesga, who will be able to enjoy the connection in Internet speed in them. home before the end of the year. The project, which was administratively “stopped”, managed to move forward thanks to the cooperation of the government group. The winning company, Telefónica, has confirmed to the City Council that the installation work of the fiber optic network has been done, which will allow access to Internet services in Ferral del Bernesga. The telephone company predicted that at the end of this year and the beginning of 2024 residents will be able to request the services of the new technology.

This investment in telecommunications efficiency will give some four hundred residents the opportunity to contract fiber service in their homes. This project is part of the 2021 UNICO Plan, supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León. The final date of completion for this project is December 31, 2023.
