Asus’ famous ROG Phone series should end with the announcement of the seventh generation last year according to some previous announcements. However, the company denied this news and confirmed that it will maintain its Gamer line of smartphones. And as proof of this, the leak has just revealed the first details of the ROG Phone 8.
According to the latest information, the ROG Phone 8 will be equipped with the recently released Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For those who don’t know, this processor was designed specifically for high-end smartphones and is now in models such as the Xiaomi 14 series. the chip promises a 30% increase in CPU performance, 20% better power consumption, and other improvements.
Currently, other features of ROG Phone 8 are still unknown. However, a device with the model number ASUS_AI2401_A recently appeared on Geekbench with a new Qualcomm chip, 16GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system. Apparently, it refers to the next release of Asus.
